What's the deal here ? Sure the guy sucked dick seven of the nine years he was in the pros, but he was a 1st team All-American in college and a first-round draft pick to boot.
When it comes down to it, I think the shmucks at CBS couldn't spell his last name correctly - so they just went with Random Dude. Wally Shitforbrains, Wally Zerbyback, Wally Shirtandhat... It is pretty tricky to spell, "Szczerbiak" there we go.
If I'm Wally World, I sue CBS for "hurt feelings". Ouchies bro.
